The article is devoted to the study of the main aspects of legal support of foreign economic transactions, which is dictated by the unstable state of affairs in the international market. Despite the existence of an established practice of concluding and executing foreign trade contracts, in each specific case it is necessary to take into account a number of factors that may negatively affect the contractual relations of counterparties. It should be noted that the chosen topic acquires particular relevance during the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, when each state applies a set of various measures in order to stabilize the situation in the domestic market, and such measures mostly relate specifically to international business activities. The policy of most states changed course in connection with the pandemic: a ban on the export of medical goods and protective products was introduced and canceled, the export of goods essential for the domestic market of both the Russian Federation and the EAEU was limited, and grain export quotas were applied. Administrative measures were also applied - all field customs inspections were suspended, which allowed enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity to normalize internal work procedures and eliminate minor shortcomings in compliance with customs legislation. Despite the high degree of knowledge of the regulatory regulation of transactions with a foreign element, this topic does not lose its relevance, not only due to the instability of the global economy against the background of coronavirus restrictions, but also due to the constant development of instruments for foreign trade interaction and irreversible processes of globalization.
