Arterial hypertension is the most common disease of the cardiovascular system. It is detected in 30-40% of the adult population and at least 60-70% of people over 60 years old. The prevalence of arterial hypertension in the Republic of Uzbekistan is on average 30%, and in people over 55 years of age – 73%.
