Population of small mammals and vacant territories typification of Kurgan city

Zone division of Kurgan, typification of the vacant territories suitable for habitation of small mammals is carried out. At classification of biotopes considered the area, anthropogenous loading, character of vegetation and soils, relief, education time, etc. Allocation of zones based on geographical, historical, architectural and ecological characteristics of studied territories. From the center to the periphery 4 zones and 8 types of biotopes are allocated. The comparative analysis of specific structure, abundance and share ratio of small mammals allowed to establish interrelation of structure of small mammals population with remoteness influence from the downtown, type and extent of biotope isolation.
