National features of Marxism: Russian reading

Бесплатный доступ

The paper deals with the Russian interpretation of Marxist philosophy. It is indicated that the specificity of this reading was associated with the religious and dogmatic interpretation of Marxism in Russia. The crisis of Christian medieval civilization eventually led Europe to liberalism, atheism and relativism, while in Russia there was an imperative of God-seeking, orienting the masses to search for Another beginning, that is, another religion, which should replace traditional Orthodox Christianity. As a result, a contradiction was formed between the scientific content of Marxism and the religious form attached to it in Russia. This contradiction was one of the reasons for the early historical collapse of Russian Marxism.
