The motives and factors anticuicidal barrier men who committed suicide attempt in the pretrial detention center

Surveyed 100 men after making suicidal attempts in the pretrial detention centre (mean age of 39,5±1,7 years). It is shown that the leading theme of suicidal behavior in this group are mainly formed in the structure of the depressive experiences, and most cases due to the situation of the criminal prosecution and imprisonment. Due to the high psycho-social maladjustment at 61,0% of subjects observed the destruction of natural factors antisuicidal barrier. Some importance in situations of imprisonment retain religion (23,0%) and family (16,0%). The author draws a conclusion about the need for remedial work, in addition to the depressive experiences on the system restore and/or update factors antisuicidal barrier with priority on categories: reference group, family, religion, etc.
