The mathematical model of assembly process of a aerospace engineering items f three-layered design with the help of the threaded insert is described. The model determines power-force parameters and movement on an external contour of the threaded insert at its axial plastic compression. The mathematical model allows to design a process of formation of tapped holes an assembly of three-layered design and to select the necessary equipment for its implementation.
