Improvement of technical and economic parameters of engineering products through the use of parts and components of new materials with high strength, heat resistance, wear resistance, and others, as a rule, leads to poor performance in their production. Today, it is most important for plants engaged in production of submersible pump installations. Stage centrifugal - the vortex pump made of cast iron material, "Ni-Resist" by investment casting. Processing such components caused great difficulties in connection with their manufacture of a material having a high content of alloying elements that reduce the workability. Sophisticated design details form will require the development and application of labor-intensive processes, evidence-based recommendations on the selection process of rational cutting, characteristics of the instrument. A study of the influence of cutting conditions and the geometry of indexable inserts to change the angle of the conditional shear plane. The dependencies describe the variation of the angle on the process conditions.
