Model for forming a unified information space for professional navigation of youth in a small town

Among the main directions of development of the education system, vocational guidance, professional navigation and professional self-determination of students are currently being actively identified. The author highlights the differences between these concepts, defines the essence and types of professional navigation. The article presents a model for the formation of a single information space for the professional navigation of young people in a small town. The model is being implemented within the framework of a regional innovation platform based on the Yuryuzan Technological College (YuTC, Yuryuzan, Chelyabinsk Region). The theme of the site project: “Formation of a single information space as a condition for professional navigation in a small town“. The structure and content of a model for the formation of a single information space for professional navigation of young people in a small town are discussed. The object, subject and essential properties of the model object are considered. The model is based on the idea of a three-stage movement of information: from obtaining information about a profession/specialty to organizing professional navigation of the city’s youth. A feature of this model is the presence in its structure of two main components: external and internal navigation, which presuppose the sequential implementation of professional navigation, first by applicants, then by college students. Each of the components of the model contains target, organizational-content and diagnostic-effective blocks. A list of necessary activities and methods of working with applicants and students is provided. The directions of work and principles of the implementation of this model are described within the framework of the work of an innovative platform based on YuTC. The result of the implementation of the model is the achievement of an acceptable or optimal level of professional self-determination of applicants and students.
