Militia in prevention of crime in the Russian Far East in the 1920's-1930's (historiographic survey)

The author summarizes the literature on the history of police published from the 1920s up to the present time, and analyses a great number of facts and scientific materials describing the process of development of the Internal Affairs Agency in 1922-1930. The paper gives a general characteristic both Russian and Far Eastern researches, and considers historiographic stages of the studied period.
