The migration of Koreans to South Sakhalin during the period of Japanese administration

The paper deals with the history of modern Korean diaspora of Sakhalin Region that started to form at the territory of Karafuto prefecture of the Japanese Colonial Empire. The author explores the issues of voluntary Korean migration, the migration by recruitment and the labor mobilization under the laws of the wartime.
