Clinical assessment of pelvic varicose disease severity

This literature review aims to analyze clinical assessment of disease severity performed with special scales. It contains a rationale for the use of evaluation scales in routine and research practice, since they are the fundamental reference methods in people with pathological conditions. We developed and implemented a clinical scale for the assessment of pelvic varicose disease severity. This scale ensures most accurate evaluation of clinical manifestations during a long period of time, which allows their analysis in dynamics, comparison of the results of various treatment approaches within one healthcare institution, and comparison of treatment outcomes in multicenter studies.
