The analysis of the electromagnetic field equations, taken as a basis for the modern theory of antennas. The analysis showed that the equations of Ampere - Faraday with outside forces and Maxwell’s equations for free-field correspond to the laws of field theory and the law of conservation of energy, and can be used to solve antenna problems. The properties and characteristics of these equations, from this point of view, in particular suggested that the currents through the conductivity resistances and do not generate wavefield. The analysis also showed that Maxwell’s equations with an external force (shock) in only one equation with respect to the antennas violate the laws of field theory and the basic law of nature - the law of conservation of energy, and therefore, they can not be used to solve antenna problems. Furthermore, when solving these equations, the integration is not on the surface and in volume, which is also contrary to the original equation. The new technique, which is based on two groups of equations: Ampere - Faraday and Maxwell’s equations without external forces in the integral form. The antenna is considered to be wired or waveguide device and is represented not only by its volume, but also the shape and the surface radiation. The volume of the antenna are outside forces, not only by the laws of Ampere - Faraday, but also by the laws of wired and waveguide techniques. On the surface, the radiation and the rest of the space of the laws of the free field (Ampere’s law - Faraday’s law of communication field vectors through the characteristic impedance), and based on them, Maxwell’s equations for a free field. The problem of determining the parameters of the field on the set parameters (current and voltage) of the generator is achieved in two stages. The first stage is defined by the distribution of the radiation field on the surface, while the second - the far field. In the second phase the antenna seems elementary source of the electromagnetic field, or specify two vectors radiation or vector and the vector loop. Field Definition sources such known. The applications of the proposed method to determine the fields and input parameters of the simplest forms of antennas - flat (slotted) and cylindrical. Calculations were carried out non-resonant type antenna wire capacitance, inductance and length of straight wire (connection resistance and inductance). The calculation results show performance of the proposed method. In particular, also it shows that the high-frequency straight wire is practically inductance.
