The creation and the operation of the underground gas storage facilities (UGSF) is the important task for the reliability of operation of gas transmission systems. Recently 3D live geological-process models have been actively built and used for solving underground gas storage problems. The paper represents an example of reliable geological model that provides the possibility to correctly solve problems related to estimation of local variability of permeability and porosity significantly computerizing the process of effective UGSF well operating modes determination.
