Place and role of the land bank in the Russia of agricultural lending

This article discusses a topical issue, as the resuscitation of agricultural mortgage loans for the implementation of financial support for producers of agricultural commodities. The author gives retrospective information about existing in tsarist Russia, land banks, reveals the mechanism of their functioning and positive impact on agricultural development, argues the need to re-create land banks in todays conditions, provides the basic steps necessary for the process of resuscitation and the effective functioning of agricultural mortgage loans.
