Mechanisms of innate immunity. Mouse model based study

Бесплатный доступ

Determination and research of the numerous functions of the human genes is one of the main tasks of modern immunogenetics. Due to high homology level between murine and human genomes, an important role in solving this problem belongs to the mouse model, the use of which has increased owing to successful breeding of various inbred strains. The differences in immune responses in mouse strains have been repeatedly used for the research of immunologically competent genes. The review describes some of the most successful and well-known examples of the mice use for the study of innate immunity.
