The materials from the personal archive of N. N. Myasoedov (in the State Archive of Saratov region): the value of personal sources for studying of influence of the First World War on the daily life of an inhabitant of the Russian rear towns

The article is based on the analysis of sources of personal origin; it is devoted to the changes in everyday life of the population of rear town which were caused by the First world war, and their perception by average man. The author reveals the value of personal sources for the reconstruction of the everyday life of a rear town in the conditions of wartime.
