The article presents a new interpretation of L. N. Tolstoy’s article Who Should Teach Whom, Should We Teach Peasants’ Children to Write or Be Taught by Them. The interpretation given in the article takes into consideration pedagogical ideas of L. N. Tolstoy found in his later philosopho-religious works.
