Peripheral nerve neuropathies impair active movements of the upper limbs significantly, severely limit the abilities of working activity, static-and-dynamic function of the lower limbs, as well as they represent significant challenges for rehabilitation. 115 patients with traumatic injuries of brachial plexus and peripheral nerves undergone direct puncture electrical stimulation have been treated in the department of neurosurgery within the period of 2004-2010. Positive results have been obtained in 76.53 % of cases.
