The macromycetes of the floodplain of the river Kirenga within of the regional natural reserve "Tukolon"

The results of the inventory of the biota enable us to develop approaches and measures for the protection of certain types of special ecotopes and biodiversity as a whole. The construction of the Baikal-Amur railway had given a strong impulse to the economic development of the area. Human impact, mainly deforestation and fires greatly changed the original appearance of the ecosystem. Study of macromycetes are held in the reserve for the first time. The list of species of the river Kirenga valley includes 187 species. Mycorrhizal fungi and macromycetes destroying trees prevail according their trophic specialization. Rare and protected species were identified and they can be recommended for the next edition inclusion of the Red Book of Irkutsk region.
