The article examines and analyzes various linguistic forms of linguistic creativity in popular science business discourse as a means of achieving certain communicative effects. The problems of formation and expansion of the genre and stylistic range of the popular science business discourse are considered. The analysis of features and regularities of tropes functioning in the works of popular science business literature against the background of the continuing uncertainty of the linguistic status of popular science texts in the general system of language functional styles is carried out. At the same time selection, systematization and description of the arsenal of emotional means of expressiveness of popular science texts used by the addresser with assessment of their novelty, originality and pragmatic efficiency is carried out. The author emphasizes special importance of taking into account the author's intension as the initial linguo-cognitive phenomenon setting a vector of development of all further linguo-creative realization of various language units.
