The paper presents the results of a study of Benedict's test for the diagnosis of lactose intolerance in children and, at the same time, the effectiveness of the lactase preparation. Benedict's test is one of the standard methods for diagnosing lactose intolerance in children. Lactase preparations are a lactase enzyme that helps break down lactose (hydrolysis) into two simple sugars, glucose and galactose, making the digestion process easier. It has been shown that the lactase preparation is the optimal way to preserve natural feeding in children with lactose intolerance, since the lactase composition is involved in the breakdown and absorption of carbohydrates and proteins, produces the most important vitamins for strengthening the health and immunity of the child, and normalizes the composition of the intestinal flora.
