Kurdish issue: a historical excursion

The article attempts to identify and analyze some issues concerning the place of the Kurdish people in geopolitical processes in the area of the Greater Middle East. The focus is on the historical aspect of this problem, covering the period up to the so-called Arab Spring, which radically changed the geopolitical situation in the region.
