Cultural significance of D. Lihachov's contribution in humanities

The article considers the components of creative heritage of D. Lihachov which integrates the questions of philosophy, history, pedagogics, science of art. The author makes special mention of the academician's great contribution to these sciences and concludes that all his works made in the area of social-humanitarian sciences are at the same time the works in the sphere of cultural science.
