The article presents results of the study based on comparative analysisof secondary treatment tools in the flint collection from the Early Paleolithic Mukhkai Isite located in the Akusha district of the Republic of Dagestan near flint outcrops. Judgingby the typological set of lithic tools, the site can be attributed to the Oldovan cultureand dated within the range of 2-1,5 million years ago. The site revealed a representativecollection of flint tools. The manufacture of flint tools took place at the site, providingan opportunity to conduct the analysis of all aspects of lithic typology, identify and describevarious operational chains associated with tools manufacture.
