Computer simulation of the process of pulse-magnetic reducing of a tubular sample on a cylindrical mandrel

The paper considers, with the help of computer simulation, all stages of the process of pulse-magnetic deforming (reducing) of a tubular billet on a cylindrical mandrel: from free deforming to dynamic interaction with the mandrel including the possible formation of a non-detachable joint. Parameters of kinematics of the process as well as the billet material stress-strain state changing in time have been estimated. A number of simplifying assumptions has been decreased: the elastic pliability of the mandrel has been taken into account, restrictions on axial displacements of the billet have been removed.
