Oxidation-reduction potential changing during ethane diacid oxidation with the potassium permanganate

Using a thermometry and potentiometry methods the authors analyzed the oxidation-reduction potential changes during the reaction of the ethane diacid oxidation with the potassium permanganate in the acid. At the end of the reaction the potential value varies. It is caused by: small ethane diacid surpluss, low medium acidity and low reaction temperature. The saline additions skew the mode shapes.
