Clinical-functional aspect of dementias of late life

Dementia of late life is a relevant medical and social problem. Influence of psychopathological structure of dementia of late life on the level of functioning of patients has been studied. Principal methods: clinical, psychometric, statistical ones. Dementia syndrome of various etiologies represents a complex structural formation, represented by cognitive, affective, behavioral and functional disturbances. All these disturbances influence adversely the level of functioning of patients.
