Clinic and prognosis of interictal mental disorders in patients with epilepsy of Saint-Petersburg

Study of permanent mental disorders in epileptic patients has been conducted in Saint-Petersburg according to materials of the City Epileptological Center examined in 1970-2005 with establishment of their prognostic significance for the course of the disease and extent of ability to work. Results of the investigation require introducing changes into organizing structure of medico-social expertise for patients with interictal non-psychotic mental disorders.
