The signal of climate in the radial increment of pine stands in modal forest types of the Voronezh region

The variability of the radial growth of Scots pine under the conditions of the reserve regime (Voronezh State Biosphere Reserve) under the influence of climatic factors that limit growth is considered. An intensive rise in air temperatures and a slight increase in the amount of atmospheric precipitation against the background of their cyclical fluctuations are revealed. It is proved that the main limiting factor of pine growth in the central forest-steppe is the sum of the precipitation of a warm period. It is shown that the generalized chronology of radial pine growth in the examined stand has high variability due to the influence of climatic factors.
