Rescue archaeological excavations performed in 2009 at the unfortified settlement dated to the late 12th-13th centuries known as Novikovo I documented presence of ceramic production represented by a kiln, and an exciting collection of stamps on the bottomof ceramic pots was made. This set of stamps has unique and singular characteristics typicalonly for this settlement. It was established that elaborate images predominated, there werepractically no simple images, while some images were found for the first time. Local pottersmade stamps featuring anthropomorphous images on their products. A find of a stamp witha princely sign, which is not common for a rural settlement, is worth mentioning
