Бесплатный доступ

The study presents the results of technical and morphological analysis of the Late Neolithic Isakovo pottery complex from the Baikal region (the radiocarbon date is 5200-4500 BP), obtained from the materials of the Ust-Ida I burial ground (19 vessels from 17 burials). Presently, the pottery complex from this burial ground is the most representative compared to other objects of the Isakovo group of burials in the region. Specific features of morphology, technology, and ornamental decoration of the vessels are identified. It is established that dishes were shaped using zonal patchwork clay molding. The bottom parts were formed on base molds. The surface of the dishes is netted. Ornamental decoration was usually placed along the rim and on its top with the domination of simple compositions (horizontal line or zigzag) made by the single stamp (pits or traced lines).
