Ceramic crucibles as a part of a metallurgical complex of Sayansky ostrog

Sayansky ostrog XVIII of century - the first Russian fortress in Siberia completely investigated. As a result of excavation large volume of materials, including numerous fragments ceramic crucibles, is received. Their presence in structure of a cultural layer of a ostrog - certificate of existence here of metallurgical manufacture, probably, use of ores from nearby a cupper-iron deposit of Maina. Made crucibles directly in itself ostrog and used differently, to what testify a line of their attributes and features. Crucibles are simultaneously tools of metallurgy and production of pottery manufacture, entering in structure of a ceramic complex. The further study of this category of products will allow us also to define a level of development of metallurgy and place ceramic manufacture as a whole in material culture of garrison Sayansky ostrog.
