The article describes the method of obtaining the coordinates of the turning points of land plots during cadastral works. Proof is given why the area obtained from the coordinates of the plot's turning points is smaller than the actual area. It was also revealed in what proportion these areas are located and a conclusion is drawn about where this information can be applied.
