The article examines the concept of «human potential». The author considers the definitions of potential and personnel policy as components. Various definitions of human resources potential proposed in the scientific literature are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the differences in the concept of «human resources» and «personnel». The components of human resources potential are highlighted. The article gives an idea of the long-term and current human resources potential.
