To a question of structural shifts in economy and their assessment

In work on the basis of particular indicators of structural changes, the dynamics of the development of the subjects of the Russian Federation that are part of the Central Сhernozem Economic Region is analyzed. It is proved that the allocation of such an economic entity within the Central Federal District is advisable, since geographical proximity and the availability of unique natural resources largely determine the general trends of their development. The factors listed in the study should serve as the basis for the development of an overall strategy for the development of the Central Сhernozem Economic Region.
