Issue of smart contracts usage in various spheres

Purpose: To point out possible spheres of application of smart contracts as a mechanism of additional protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of civil relations. Methodology: The author used various general scientific and special legal methods: analysis, synthesis, generalizing, analysis of legal literature, and legalistic method. Results: Some main spheres of application of smart contracts were proposed as the main conclusion: financial services; life support and health care; technology, media and communications; power supply; government sector; cross-cutting sector. Novelty/originality/value: The conclusions can be used in the process of further research of legal regulation of relations related to smart contracts.
