Introduction: the article examines the interaction of the investigator with other participants in criminal proceedings who are not parties to the criminal case, the relevance of the study of this direction is given. The article considers the concept and content of the term “other participants in criminal proceedings”. The concept of interaction of the investigator with participants of criminal proceedings who are not parties in criminal case is presented. The signs of this type of interaction characterizing its content are proposed, their brief analysis is given. The importance and necessity of further research of this direction is noted. Materials and methods: the normative basis of the study is formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, criminal and criminal procedural legislation, local normative acts regulating the content of interaction between the participants in criminal proceedings. The methodological basis of the study was the general dialectical method of scientific cognition, which is universal in nature, as well as methods of logical deduction, induction, cognitive methods and techniques of observation, comparison, analysis, generalization and description...
