On the issue of the forensic definition of staging as a way of counteracting an investigation

Introduction: The article analyzes the opinions of such famous scientists as I.N. Yakimov, A.R. Ratinov, V.I. Popov, V.A. Ovechkin, Ye.V. Baranov, R.S. Belkin, V.I. Fadeyev concerning the criminalistic problem of counter-investigation. Materials and Methods: legal framework of the study are the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, criminal and criminal procedural legislation. The methodological framework of the study was the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, which has a universal character, as well as methods of deduction, comparison, analysis, generalization and description. The results of the study: The analyzed approaches in the study of the criminalistic problem of counteraction to the investigation allowed us to develop our own criminalistic definition of staging a crime. Findings and Conclusions: the study of the significance of the criminalistic problem of counteraction to pre-trial investigation led to the conclusion that there is no fundamental work synthesizing all the accumulated criminalistics knowledge on this problem to date. Ways of development of analytical work in this direction are proposed.
