The authors of the article analyze the results of radiocarbon dating of late Neolithic-Eneolithic materials of the forest area of the Middle Volga region. Comparison of calibrated dates shows synchronism of the Volga-Kama and Pit-Comb complexes. The same applies to the materials of Staromazikovsky type. But Krasnomostovsky type existed later and holds a position between the Volga-Kama and Pit-Comb ceramics, on the one hand, and the materials of the Volosovo culture, on the other hand.

Middle volga region, pit-comb ceramics, volga-kama culture, volosovo culture, radiocarbon date, staromazikovsky type, krasnomostovsky type
