In the monograph, based on documentary and narrative sources, using musical (neumatic) notation manuscripts, written in the circles of the tsar’s choir singers, the history of the activity of the court masters of church and singing art is presented. The main attention is paid to outstanding masters, first of all - to Feodor Krestiyanin.
