Juridical mistake and the principle of legality

The article considers a juridical mistake in the context of the principle of legality within the framework of its interpretation by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The peculiarities and specifics of blanket criminal legal norms and their influence on the occurrence of significant juridical mistake are disclosed. It is concluded that there is no criminal legal mechanism that allows the court to properly investigate the objective possibility of a person understanding the legal rule in a case.
