Anniversary of the academic economist of Khakassia (on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the candidate in economics G. M. Shaposhnikov)

On May 6, 2022, the Candidate in Economics, senior research fellow of the Department of Economics and Sociology of Khakass Research Institute for Language, Literature, and History, working with-in the framework of the agrarian problems of Khakassia, turned 75 years old. He represents the scientific and pedagogical community of the region, is a part of the galaxy of researchers of the economic issue of South Siberia. The anniversary celebrant’s scientific and social activities are of particular interest due to the relevance of his works. The formation and development of the agricultural complex of Khakassia has become the main area of the scientist's research. G.M. Shaposhnikov pays special attention to the problems of functioning of this sector of economics in the conditions of the post-Soviet period. He studies both general issues (organization and management, improving the efficiency of enterprises) and highly specialized ones (history of the formation of veterinary medicine, the role of personality in the development of the territory, the formation of an element of the national education system of Khakassia). The anniversary celebrant’s ideas have played an important role in the formation of scientific research in rural areas of the region, and have practical significance. The purpose of the article is to cover the main areas of his scientific activity.
