Evolution of strain fields in space and time in the surface layer in the seam welded area of titanium alloy VT1-0 in a submicrocrystalline state

Based on the application of the Vic-3D digital optical system, the data on the space and time evolution of deformation fields in the near-surface layer of the VT1-0 alloy in the weld region obtained by electron beam welding in the submicrocrystalline state are obtained. It is found that when the sample is stretched in the area of the weld at the initial stage, localized deformation foci with negative values of elastic deformation are formed in the area of elastic deformation.
