Ethnic communities in the system of interethnic relations in the North Caucasus: on the history of the problem

The article is devoted to the historical past of the North Caucasus ethnic minorities (1930s - 1990s), their settlement and forced migration, their relationships with aboriginal population. Special emphasis is paid to the hardships experienced by the ethnic minorities. The author also analyzes processes related to life conditions of the ethnic minorities subjected to the forced migration.
