Ethics as a tool for harmonisation of relations in cross-cultural communication

The article explores the ethic scheme of cross-cultural communication between representatives of different linguo-cultural communities, comparison of ritual and courtesy codes of their conduct, which are based on universal ideological and ethnic values and aid to elaborate specific image of conduct in communication. Addressing to ethics in cross-cultural interaction is explained by various misconceptions (pragmatic and contextual), which arise during the process of communication. For elimination of such misconceptions and harmonization of relationships it is important to know the etiquette since it is the important part of universal and national culture, ethics and moral. According to this, ethic characteristics of communicants and patterns of behavior, determined by national cultural specifics, are quite significant in various types of interpersonal and business communication and encourage the development of policultural linguistic identity in educational process.
