Aesthetics of representation in theatre of Agustin Moreto

The article focuses on the Spanish playwright A. Moreto's famous comedies such as El lindo don Diego and El parecido en la corte from the perspective of representation understood according to the philosophic and aesthetic interpretation of the term in C. Ginzburg's and M. Yampolsky's works. Attention is given to metatheatricality of A. Moreto's plays.
