Results of the experimental investigation on determining the source of vibration excitations that lead to fracture of parts of gas turbine engines are outlined in this article. After analysis of the mechanism of vibration excitation and its theoretical justification, measures were proposed to reduce the intensity of excitation; to prevent and eliminate fatigue fractures.
