The method of fatigue tests of steel crosswise samples with surface crack at biaxial loading is described. The sample and devices for realization in working part of a sample the biaxial tension and tension-compression are offered. Results of tests are given in samples from AK6 aluminum alloy and constructional steel 20. Influence of stress parallel to the plane of a crack, on the speed of its growth is established.
