Ecological condition of dendroflora in the town park of Birobidzhan

The author has researched the ecological condition of dendroflora in the Town Park of Birobidzhan. It has been determined the species composition of trees and their age structure. The author investigated more than 2,000 trees, and more than 50% of them appeared to be in a most weakened state, caused by damages of different categories (mechanical and insects), ageing, deviations in the growth (competition for space), and condition of the soil; 29 % of the trees were in a very poor state; 13% had a good status, their age not exceeding 10 years.
