Efficient techniques of development of calligraphy skills in the period of teaching literacy of elementary school students

The article deals with the importance of the development of the calligraphy skills, the difficulties faced by elementary school students in mastering of the writing skills and the psychophysiological foundations of calligraphy. There is revealed the history of teaching the calligraphy and the most popular modern and relevant methods of teaching writing. At the end of the article, a detailed conclusion is given and the conditions for the correct formation of the writing skills of primary school students are listed.
